To lessen our impact on the environment, the Immigration Law Group of Meyner and Landis LLP has substantially reduced its reliance upon paper by utilizing the latest in web-based technology in our handling of all immigration matters. Our state-of-the-art, web-based case management system is convenient, versatile and virtually paperless . It allows our designated corporate personnel and our foreign nationals secure, 24/7 access to review (in real-time) the status of all pending immigration matters, including the receipt of automatic reminders, a reviewable log of activities conducted within each file, and a secure, SSL-encrypted email system. While the foreign national only has access to his/her individual case, our clients’ designated personnel enjoy unfettered access to the entirety of their files at anytime, from anywhere the web is accessible.
Additionally, Meyner and Landis LLP is currently working to adopt EPA-established best practices for office paper management to further reduce the firm’s carbon footprint. To demonstrate our support for green initiatives, the firm plans to apply to the American Bar Association and the Environmental Protection Agency as a partner in the “Law Office Climate Challenge”.
